Hello!
I’m Georgie, a playwright & actor from the East of England with a particular focus on the climate crisis and the intersection between misogyny and tech.
Below you can take a look at what I’m currently working on & if you want something to read, there’s my CV/drop me an email for play extracts.
I write plays centring on misogyny, the nonhuman, and falling in love with trees/the Berlin Wall/the wrong people.
I’ve recently finished writing with Omnibus Theatre at Omni-Wright and was shortlisted for the Trinity Shaffer Playwright-in-Residence in May 2024.
I am currently working on an upcoming new play, ‘Ordinary Sex’, developed as part of Shift+Space with Theatre Deli and a modern adaptation of Ibsen’s ‘Little Eyolf’, supported by Omnibus Theatre’s Omni-Wright course.
In late 2025, I will begin on the Royal Court Intro to Playwriting group.

Macready Theatre Commission
2023 – 2024
I am under commission for Rugby School’s Macready Theatre, writing 3 COUPLES, 2 BREAKUPS, 1 BARBIE & THE BERLIN WALL for their Edinburgh Fringe Run in August 2024.
3 COUPLES is set across five decades, asking what love looks like when words go wrong.
**** Reviews for this ‘standout’ ‘anatomy of love’ with ‘bracing discipline’ can be found here and here and here.
Bloomsbury Theatre Prize
2024
My play ATTEMPTS ON A BIRCH TREE is set to be produced and performed at Bloomsbury Festival 2024.
After winning the Bloomsbury Theatre Prize for its ‘bold, exciting experimental’ portrayal of inter-species romance, Bloomsbury Festival is supporting the production for its debut in October 2024 for which you can buy tickets here.
OneTrackMinds
2023
My new play ARE YOU WATCHING? was offered an industry reading as part of Omnibus’ page to stage programme.
In late 2023, I was selected as part of the Hidden Tracks cohort to write and perform an autobiographical story based on David Bowie’s ‘Modern Love’.
Performing at Wilton’s Music Hall and the Southbank Centre, you can find this story of conkers, Bowie, and growing up alongside your parents in my Portfolio.
